SAS Partners Corporate Advisors in partnership with the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Netherlands in Bengaluru, Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA) and the World Trade Center (Bengaluru, Kochi and Chennai) organised a webinar on “Showcase The Netherlands” on 30 June 2020. It was one of a kind initiative by SAS Partners, also the first edition of the Webinar Series on Internationalisation of Indian Companies.
The webinar had the presence of key speakers Mr Heine Lageveen, Deputy Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Bengaluru, Mr Balaji Venkatraman, Area Director (South) – NFIA, Dr Bose Nair, Vice President – WTC Bengaluru, Kochi and Chennai, Mr V Vijay Kumar, Advisor, Hon. Consul for the Netherlands in Chennai & Advisor, SAS Partners Corporate Advisors, Mr Reinier W L Russell, Managing Partner, along with Mr Guus Van Lieshout, Russell Advocaten, Amsterdam, Mr R Parthasarathy, Founder & Managing Director, iSolve Technologies and Mr Alex T.KOSHY, Director – Advisory, SAS Partners Corporate Advisors.
On the other hand, the interactive webinar was well attended by more than 130 Indian companies who are interested to expand their businesses globally. The participants were widely from the IT & ITeS, Consulting, Manufacturing, Education, Engineering & Automation, Pharma & Biotechnology, Food & Agri, and Electronics sectors. Participants were able to completely get a picture of the business opportunities in the Netherlands – the key sectors and activities, Indian companies that already have established their presence in the Netherlands, information on trade relations between India and the Netherlands etc.,
The webinar was resourceful and informative with respect to the topics covered on investment and business opportunities with the Netherlands, and the legal aspects of operating in the Netherlands – starting a business, legal requirements, personnel management, commercial contracting etc. The role of the Consulate General in the Kingdom of the Netherlands and NFIA in promoting in Trade and Investment and how they act as enablers, was also briefed during the webinar.
